As previously discussed, it’s important to allow access to requested accounts before the call in order to to help us hit the ground running, it’s also helpful to gather a few key documents ahead of time and upload them securely through our client portal. While the exact list may vary depending on your situation, here’s a common checklist to use as a guide:
- Copies of driver’s licenses
- SS-4 – IRS Proof of Tax ID
- Copy of 2024 1099s (if applicable)
- Voided check for fee processing
- 2024 business tax return (once filed)
- Purchase documents for all years we’re handling bookkeeping/taxes
